Care of Vintage & Antique ClothesIf your item is a washable fabric or wool and can stand up to washing, we recommend using cool water and a small amount of a very gentle detergent such as Ivory Snow to hand wash. Do not wring vintage fabric or use harsh stain removers. Remove excess water with towels and drip-dry or lay flat. Air garments outside if possible to freshen or use air-dry setting in dryer (use a dryer sheet such as Trader Joe's All Natural Lavender Dryer Sachets if needed to remove odors). Dry-cleaning is only recommended if fabric is strong enough to withstand -- remove buttons or decorations if need be and re-attach after dry-cleaning. Avoid bleach or bleach cleaners! Care of Roz's Place WigsHow to care for your Roz's Place wig purchase:
Wash in cool water only. Fill basin and add a small amount (dash) of mild shampoo. Swish gently and then rinse thoroughly in cold water. Shake out water and drip dry -- do not brush when wet. Brush into desired shape after wig is dry. No setting is necessary -- curls will snap back into position when wig is completely dry. If restyling is desired, set with wave set and rollers and place under warm dryer. Do not use curling iron or heated curling kits. Nylon wig caps are sold separately. Wigs are one size fit all. |
